Proof of Vaccination Policy - Update

Dear Members & Friends,

On Wednesday, September 1st, the Sausalito Yacht Club will require all members and guests to be fully vaccinated before entering the club.  The safety of our members, guests and employees remains our primary concern, and your cooperation will ensure a safe dining and social environment at our club.  We don’t want you to miss being around your friends.

Proof of Vaccination may be shown in one of the following ways.

  • The CDC Vaccination Card with name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine administered and date last dose administered
  • A physical photo copy of the vaccination card
  • A digital photo of a vaccination card on a phone or electronic device
  • Documentation of vaccination from a health care provider
  • A personal digital COVID-19 vaccine QR code issued by the State of California Vaccine Record, available via *.
  • Documentation from an approved private company listed below:

Beginning immediately, you may submit your proof of vaccination to or provide it to Pam Andres, our General Manager, at your next visit.  You may also provide a proof of vaccination information for your “A” member and other members of your household who accompany you to the club.  

Once your documentation has been approved and verified you will be added to our record of fully vaccinated members so you don’t have to show it every time you enter.

Children 12 and under are exempt from providing proof of vaccination.  If you have a medical or religious exemption, please contact our Office Manager Jeri Kirihara at for more details on the process. We ask that you do this before you visit the club as we may not be able to review your information upon arrival.  

Regardless of vaccination status, if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have come into close contact with someone who is presumed or confirmed to have COVID-19, please do not come to the club for any reason.  The CDC website has resources to help determine if a COVID-19 test or quarantine may be appropriate. Please contact your doctor if you have any questions regarding COVID-19 testing, quarantine, or other concerns.

Please ensure that your guests are aware of this new requirement and that they are prepared to show proof of vaccination and identity when joining you at the club.  Per Marin County guidelines, face coverings continue to be required when indoors except when eating and drinking. We also encourage reservations for dining as this will help our staff prepare for your arrival and speed your entry.

*For a digital record of your vaccination, you will need to enter in your name, your birthdate, and create a four character PIN number to access your records. Follow the instructions and you can have the proof of vaccination sent to your phone via text or sent in an email.  You can save this to your device for future use.
