The SYC Wine Club

 

Uncorked is Sausalito Yacht Club’s "club within a club," that brings members together to share their love of wine. Come join us for our bi-monthly educational wine tasting events with cheese pairings.

Uncorked events are fun, informative and always delicious. Our mission is to give members opportunities to learn about and taste wines that you might not otherwise encounter. We feature wines from regions around the world as well as premier boutique California wines presented by highly acclaimed wine makers. Tastings are conducted by wine professionals and sommeliers who share their knowledge of terroir, grape varietals, and all the elements that make the wines you are tasting a unique and amazing experience.

August 22:  Afternoon Wine Tasting on the Deck — 3 pm to 5 pm. $40/person. Meet founders and ambassadors from the following select boutique wineries, invited to share with you their current premier offerings.  Which will be your favorites?

October 6:  Brunello di Montalcino – Explore one of Italy’s (and the world’s) greatest red wines from this small wine region in southern central Tuscany, producing impressive wines from Sangiovese grapes and barrel-aged for a minimum of four years.

December 8:  Annual Holiday Sparkler — Toast the holidays at this festive evening of Champagne tasting, plus a chance to sample Billecart-Salmon and Tsar Nicoulai caviar.
